破除陳年黑暗，找回光亮本然
The　dark　past—Just　let　it　be　(let　it　go);　Seek　out　our　bright　origin
三省四勿研參
"San　xing　si　wu"(1)　do　study
十字街口仔細探，無縫之鎖開眼前
Closely　examine　the　cross—Seamless　door　before　our　eyes
發出慈心悲愿大任擔
Bear　the　great　duty　of　merciful　vows
使命在身道辦，轉通三界恆寬
The　mission　is　to　spread　Dao;　Three　realms(2)　forever　transcend
正氣凜然參天
The　righteous　aura　does　ascend
聖凡今修辦　自是非一般
It's　extraordinary　to　cultivate　nowadays
見道成道認理實修闡
Cultivate,　realize　and　explain　the　Dao
是非智慧判　常生自在談
Discern　with　wisdom　(between　what　is　true　and　false),　discuss　it　freely
如來奇觀美名留傳
Buddha's　marvelous　good　name,　carry　on

(1)Three　introspections　of　Confucian　teaching:
1.　Have　I　been　faithful　in　my　duties　and　responsibilities?
2.　Have　I　been　sincere　and　trustworthy　in　my　dealings　with　friends?
3.　Have　I　put　into　practice　what　I　have　learned　as　a　cultivator?

Four　prohibitions/taboos　of　Buddhist　dharma:
1.　Do　not　look　at　what　is　improper　(see　no　evil)
2.　Do　not　listen　to　what　is　improper　(hear　no　evil)
3.　Do　not　say　what　is　improper　(speak　no　evil)
4.　Do　not　act　upon　what　is　improper　(do　no　evil)

(2)Three　realms　of　reality:
1.　Realm　of　the　physical　(tangible)
2.　Realm　of　the　nonphysical　(intangible)
3.　Realm　of　the　emotional　desires　and　obsession

Lotus　flowers　blossom;　That's　just　how　they　are
光明而不刺眼　純淨而不孤癖
Brightness　without　dazzle;　Purity　without　isolation
尊貴而不霸道　富足而不奢華
Respectability　without　overbearance;　Abundance　without　extravagance
莊嚴而不自專　高雅而不傲慢
Dignity　without　selfishness;　High　standards　without　arrogance
圓滿而不圓滑　合諧而不失禮
Satisfaction　without　cunning;　Harmony　without　discourtesy

言行合一　是光明純淨之蓮
Words　and　action　in　accord　is　a　bright　and　pure　lotus
知行合一　是尊貴富足之蓮
Knowledge　and　action　in　accord　is　a　respectable　and　abundant　lotus
心口合一　是莊嚴高雅之蓮
Heart　and　mouth　(words)　in　accord　is　a　dignified　and　high　standard　lotus
上下合一　是圓滿合諧之蓮
Above　and　below(3)　in　accord　is　a　satisfactory　and　harmonious　lotus
天人合一　是清靜喜悅之蓮
Heaven　and　man　in　accord　is　a　quiet　and　joyful　lotus
